"I started working with Lindsey Nuzzo back in 2011 and have been working with her once or twice a week since.  Lindsey was recommended to me because my former trainer knew that I needed to be pushed - that I was capable of more than I might set out to do; he knew that Lindsey would do just this for me.  During a couple of turbulent work years, she worked around my weird schedule and was extremely accommodating.  When I took up the sport of running a year ago, Lindsey helped adjusted our training a bit to help with my running efforts.  At 62 years old, I feel that personal training is important - working one on one, Lindsey is able to ensure I'm doing exercises correctly preventing injury.  She knows my strengths and weaknesses and modifies our routine accordingly.   Lindsey has the educational background (both college and subsequent training) to know 'what effects what' and clearly understands the complexity of the body.  Having said all that, we have plenty of laughs too!"~ DG

At the age of 50 and the beginning of menopause I gained 15 pounds overnight!  As an active woman who had balanced raising a family and a professional career all while maintaining my weight this was unacceptable.  I was motivated to exercise.  First I had tried aerobics classes and circuit work outs but then it became apparent as I reached 60 that professional coaching was what I needed to maintain the next level of healthy and fit.  I had watched Lindsey provide personal training to others and she came highly recommended. With her formal education she knew exactly where I needed to focus to maintain the muscle tone we naturally loose as we mature.  She structures the workouts to fit the individual’s need and adjusts when necessary.  I am now approaching my 70 birthday and although I recently retired I will continue to rely on Lindsey to develop programs that help me maintain good balance, coordination and stay physically fit.  After all, entering retirement means more time to do all the things that were always put off till tomorrow.  Well it’s tomorrow!     Fran C.  East Longmeadow, Ma

I have worked with Lindsey for about 4 and a half years. When I started I didn't really have any clear cut goals, only that I knew that as 40 was approaching I needed to make some type of lifestyle change. (That pizza didn't melt off as fast as it did in my 20's.) I should say that I am not someone that enjoys exercise but trusting Lindsey to develop a weekly work out plan has worked fabulously for me.  As someone who knows very little about weight training I am always confident that she'll be there to make corrections and adjustments so that I know I'm doing the workout the right way. I started working with Lindsey a little more than a year ago. I’d had a steady gym routine but wasn’t seeing any results. I wanted to lose weight before my brother’s wedding. With Lindsey’s coaching, I was able to drop two dress sizes before the big day! Now, Lindsey helps me to steadily lose fat, build muscle, and stay motivated. I have been working with Lindsey for over 2 years now and my initial goal was for injury prevention which quickly lead to surgery recovery for my 9th arthroscopic knee surgery. Once we worked on re-building some leg strength and stability after my surgery, we moved onto overall strength, and a lot of core work.  Since my last knee surgery January 2015, I have had little to no pain while working twice a week with Lindsey.  And, if I do, I just mention to her what's bothering me and she works around my soreness, aches, and injuries very well.  She has worked very hard with me to meet my goals from week to week and makes sure to check in with me periodically to see that I'm doing okay.  I have great trust in her knowledge of the human body and how to work around injuries and other stuff to keep me strong no matter what.  My job as a massage therapist are very physically taxing on my body, so I need a lot of core strength and overall stability to be able to work with my clients the way that I need to.  I would highly recommend Lindsey to anyone that wants to work with a very motivating and experienced personal trainer.  AB 36
